So many questions and so little space, suffice to say that magic exists in all things and when desire, love and focus come together, wondrous dreams become reality. Faeries have known this for millennia; their script (a simple version which is found on these coins) is an expression of their energy and magical environment.
That mythical crock of gold at the end of the rainbow really does exist, yet not in the accepted form - for it was there that the first faerie coins were re-discovered. The desires, hopes and wishes of the land of Fay are embodied in these coins.
Why would faeries need such coins? Well, to travel long distances we use a car, bus, train or aeroplane; we could walk, but it would be exhausting at best and impractical at worst. We would expend too much energy. When we dream, we travel great distances to be close to a loved one and often we just appear as a result of thought, desire, need or love. In the physical world we use vehicles, in the mind and heart we just focus, and arrive. It's easy when you know how. It's the same for the faeries.
If you're a wizard or witch you have a wand; if you're a clairvoyant you have cards, a pendulum or crystal ball. Faeries have wishing coins. All these devices are a means of focus, to help divine and conjure up that which we would wish to be.
Use your faerie wishing coins with care and love and always be true to your heart. By doing this there is a much better chance of letting the wish blossom and grow, bringing happiness to all. Good luck and may your life be enchanted.

At the bottom of the garden,
Focus hard and vision see,

Yet Time in Fay does not exist,
Never waste a Faerie wish,
Be wise therefore and reflect awhile,
Magic and wonder herein lies,
With Faerie coins you can divine.
Just make a wish when time is right,
In crystal pools, by clear Moon light.
Or leave in woods where Faeries be,
To exchange a wish, for you to see.
A coin there you may cast,
Your wish set free in dappled shade,
Perhaps to last and last.
A coin therefore you must select,
That best reflects your heart felt quest.
On that which you would have to be.
Consult the Fay, when time is right,
And cast away.Yet don't take fright!
A reward, the Faeries have for you.
As soon as cast the days they pass,
And favours they are granted.
And patience is a virtue,
So rest assured the Sun will rise,
And the faeries should have heard you.
On thinking someone harm,
For magic, faerie, wishing coins,
Were conceived in Fay with love.
